I would like to invite everyone to the Opening Reception and Awards Presentation for the Art of the State exhibition at the Arvada Center in Arvada, CO. The opening reception Thursday January 24th from 6 – 9 PM, which is free and open to the public. The exhibit runs from January 24 through March 31, 2013.
Dan & I plan on attending the opening reception unless the unique Colorado weather interferes.
There were 1,635 entries from 588 entrants. A total of 191 works were selected and I cannot tell you what it means to me to be included in this with such a talented group of artists. In an earlier blog post, I shared details about my selected works that will be on display.
Hope to see you next Thursday! Dan will be taking plenty of pictures, which I plan on sharing in a future blog post.

Wow, that race sounds crazy! But exciting, and well worth the effort, I am sure – because you get to have that fitness all the time… and Zion, I love Zion. That photo reminds me of arches national park… or Bryce….. Awsome list Kathleen, I am sure you’ll go far!
